Phyllis Gail Cash-Bibb went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2011, having lived 61 years. She departed this life with her loving husband by her side in her Visalia home. She was born on August 31, 1950 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Clark John Cash, and Mazel McElroy. Her family moved to Northern California in 1954. Later she moved to the San Joaquin Valley, where she attended and graduated Redwood high school in 1968. She started her working career as a beautician; and later worked for many years in the real estate business as a loan processor. She met and married the love of her life, Bret D. Bibb with whom she spent 37 years. Together she and Bret had many journeys. Some of which took them across the US from California to New York and back. She loved to go camping with friends and family. Weekend trips to Laughlin NV and to the central coast were a common occurrence. She enjoyed attending her grand children's events and games; after all, she was their biggest fan! She had a laugh that could be heard around the world and any one that heard it, couldn't help but smile. She had love for everyone, and a sympathetic heart. Diagnosed with cancer, she battled for 2 years with grace and insurmountable courage. She gave us all such hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She will be missed by so many, and never forgotten. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bret D. Bibb, her children: Donovan Langford, Carrie Phelps (Rodney Phelps), Nickie Kemp (Gary Kemp), Sheri Bibb (Richard Gutierrez), and grand-children: Austin and Summer Langford, Shana, Ryan, Kayly, Kody and Kelsey Phelps, Raiane, Rebecca, and Levi Kemp, and Gage Gutierrez. She is preceded in death by her parents Clark, and Mazel Cash. A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 28th at 6pm, at The Visalia Senior Center, located at 310 N. Locust Ave. in Visalia CA, 93291.
