Mark Hartley McCarthy

Mark Hartley McCarthy, 52, of Visalia, passed away on August 5, 2013. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August 10 at 2 pm at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel 1700 W. Caldwell Avenue 93277. Reception to follow at the Naz Church 3333 W. Caldwell. Mark was born in Visalia on August 10, 1960. He graduated from Redwood High School in 1979. Mark was married to Janice Dean on June 27 1987; they were married 26 years. Mark was self employed. He worked in video surveillance and alarm sales and service for over 25 years. He enjoyed taking his granddaughter Alice to the Farmers Market and helping his friends Tom and Katrin Newman with their customers. Mark is survived by his wife Janice, Daughter Lauren , son Samuel granddaughter Alice, Mother Mary Singdale (Chic), brother Patrick , Sister is laws Linda Dean, Ginny Andres, Carolyn Lopez (Rick) brother in law Gary Dean, many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. Mark is preceded in death by his Father George McCarthy, Father in Law Howard Dean and Sister in Law Connie McCarthy.
