Duane Orr Swearingen

Duane Orr Swearingen was born on February 19, 1935 to W. C. and Rebecca Swearingen in Shawnee Oklahoma. Duane passed away peacefully on November 29, 2013. His family came to Visalia in 1941. He farmed for many years, attended Visalia Senior High, Class of 53 and served in the United States Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Shirley, his daughter Michelle, son Bradford, three beautiful grand daughters Amanda, Rebecca and Anna Swearingen, sisters Colleen Camara, Delores Kassebaum, Sandra Nilmeier along with several nieces and nephews. Duane was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Claudena and niece Jennifer. He requested no services. Our family would like to especially thank Dr. William Roach and the staff of the 4th floor North at Kaweah Delta Hospital for your tender loving care in the last days of Dads life. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean Well miss you .. Until we meet again!
