Bette Ruth Wimer

After a long courageous battle with cancer, Bette Ruth Wimer, 65 years young, left this earth to join her maker in heaven, March 2, 2013 at 9:55 pm. Born in Oakland, CA., April 27, 1947 to James and Sybil Henderson. She attended both Tulare Union High School and Roosevelt High School in Fresno, from which she graduated; later to retire as Jewelry Manager of JC Penny after 25 years. Bette is survived by her husband Floyd Wimer, son Darren Wimer, daughter Rebekah Wimer and step-son Michael Wimer; as well as her daughter-in-law Donya Wimer, grandchildren Zakery, Jenn and Tiff Wimer and Tannis Carson. Other surviving family is her oldest sister Christine Grinage and younger brother Paul Henderson. Bette enjoyed bowling, dancing and attending church. All of her friends and family were held dear to her heart. Viewing will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 3:00-5:00 pm. At Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel, 1700 W. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, Ca. 93277. A private burial will be held Monday, March 11, 2013. Celebration of Life to be held Monday, March 11, 2013 at 6:00 pm, at Calvary Worship Center, 3890 S. Lovers Lane, Visalia, Ca. 93292
