Crystal "Chris" Camara

Crystal Chris Camara, born January 15, 1965 in Lynwood, CA passed away on November 26, 2012 in Anaheim, CA at the age of 47. Chris was a long time resident of Hanford. She was a graphic artist at Exopack for 13 years before becoming a correctional officer in 2003 at Corcoran State Prison. Chris loved the outdoors and had a deep passion for animals of all kinds. She loved spending time with family and friends. Chris is preceded in death by her mother Myrna Billy Elias, father Clarence R. Camara and brother Buddy Joseph Elias. She is survived by Chrystal Lusk-Camara of Hanford her domestic partner of 13 years; sons, Dylan Camara and Drake Camara of Hanford; daughter, Emma Camara of Hanford; brother William Bill Elias and wife Leslie of Madera; godmother, Artie Blackburn Nina of Hanford; lifelong best friend, Robin Fagundes of Hanford; mother in law, Vicki Souza of Hanford; brother in law, Jeremy Lusk of Hanford; 8 nieces; 4 nephews, numerous great nieces, nephews and a huge extended family. A graveside service is scheduled for Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11:00 at Calvary Cemetery, Hanford, Ca
