Raymundo Quijas Lopez born March 15, 1942 passed away on March 1, 2012. Raymundo was raised in Farmersville and graduated from Exeter Union High School. He enjoyed his work in the high sierra mountains as a logger and an agricultural foreman. His passion for the great outdoors included yearly hunting trips with his best friend Smiley, and frequent visits to the lake for leisurely fishing. He was a proud Mexican-American who made friends everywhere he went. Raymundo will truly be missed and loved by all. Remember him as the Great outdoorsmen he was and may the Lord have him in his glory, Amen. Raymundo Quijas Lopez is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Susana Lopez. His mother, Guadalupe Lopez ; four sisters Antonia, Olivia, Mary Ellen and Mercy; three sons James, Ricardo and Raymundo Jr.; three daughters Cecilia, Mirna, and Patricia;10 grandchildren and two great grand children. A viewing will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel, Farmersville, CA. The Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Farmersville, CA on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 9:00 am. Burial will be at Exeter District Cemetery.
