Salvador Martinez Villalobos, age 95 passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 in Visalia surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 24, 1918in Chihuahua, Mexico and became a US citizen in 1958. Salvador graduated from Muir High School in Pasadena, CA and continued his education at Pasadena City College. He was a carpenter for Sequoia Lumber yard, worked for the City of Visalia in building maintenance and was a jack of all trades when it came to carpentry, plumbing, building and wiring. Salvador was a member of First Baptist Church in Visalia for 30 years as well as a long time Mason. He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years Mary Villalobos; sons, Salvador Villalobos Jr. of Pasadena and Richard Villalobos of Visalia; Daughter, Irene Villalobos-Hernandez of Fresno; Granddaughters Maria Villalobos-Nethery of Pasadena, Monique Villalobos-Baldiviez of Visalia and Marlene Uyeda of Fresno; Great granddaughter Melina Baldiviez and great grandson Quentin Baldiviez both of Visalia. Salvador was a wonderful Husband and Father, an Amazing Man, Great Buddy and always had a good joke to tell. Funeral Services will be private.
