Diana Lynn Berry

Diana Lynn Berry, age 65, passed away on February 21, 2014 at Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia. She was born July 12, 1948 in Fresno to Joseph T. and Ellen Francis Berry. Lynn grew up in Visalia and graduated from Mt. Whitney High School. She worked for 27 years as the Lab Assistant for Visalia Medical Clinic. She volunteered at St. Mary's Catholic Church for over 10 years as a wedding coordinator, office helper and accompanied priests to visit the elderly in nursing homes. She was a volunteer at Kaweah Delta Medical Center with the outpatient daycare center working with Dementia and Alzheimer's patients. Most recently she was involved with Mt. Whitney High School working in the Special Education classrooms. She joined the congregation at Beit Shalom in 2007. Lynn married Ron Glispey in 1964 in Visalia. Lynn is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Fran Berry as well as her brother Pat Berry of Bakersfield. She is survived by her daughter Tami (Steve) Calabrese of Pismo Beach, Ca. and son Ryan Glispey of Visalia along with grandchildren Stephen, Lexi, McKenzie and Megan Calabrese; Priscilla, Ryanna, and Blake Glispey. She is also survived by her brother Joe Berry of Visalia. A special thanks to her God Mother Annette Nehls who visited and prayed with her daily and was a huge source of comfort to our family. Graveside service will be held at Visalia Public Cemetery District on Monday, March 3, 2014, 1:00pm. Memories and words of comfort may be sent to the family online at www.hadley-marcom.com.
