Sergio Froilan Escarsega A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00pm on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church for Sergio Froilan Escarsega, age 22 who passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 in Sacramento, CA. Interment will be at Visalia Public Cemetery District. A Celebration of his life will follow the services at the Holy Family Catholic Church Hall. Sergio was born May 26, 1991 in Visalia, CA. He attended Mineral King Elementary School, Valley Oak Middle School and graduated from Golden West High School in 2009. Sergio played high school football, was in the marching band and the winter drum line. After high school he graduated from San Joaquin Valley College in 2013 with a Degree in Business Administration and continued his education in Sacramento as a junior at University of Phoenix in Business Administration. Sergio enjoyed off-roading with family and friends. He loved his Pittsburgh Steelers. Sergio is preceded in death by his grandfather Sotero F. Corrales and grandmother Lorena Lira and his paternal grandparents Froilan and Maria Escarsega. He is survived by his mother Diana Martinez and stepfather Floyd Lenny Martinez of Visalia; father Froilan Escarsega of Bakersfield; brothers David Estrada and Emilio Escarsega and sister Monica Calderon; niece Ava Marie Estrada and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2014, 4:00-8:00pm at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel, 1700 W. Caldwell Ave., Visalia. The Rosary will be prayed Thursday, March 6, 2014, 6:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
