Paul "Pauly" Valencia, 41, left our world on March 25, 2014 to join our Father after a courageous battle with cancer. Paul was born in Visalia, California on September 11, 1972 to Paul and Elsie Valencia. He graduated from Redwood High School in Visalia and then attended Golden State Business College. He worked as the Maintenance Supervisor and a Funeral Director Assistant at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland, TX for almost 4 years. He had a passion for music, especially R&B and Reggae with his favorite artist being New Edition and Bob Marley. Paul also enjoyed being a d.j., and barbequing. His true love, joy and pride lies within his son, Jaden Valencia. Paul lived his life to its fullest and cherished every moment he had with his son. Together they built a lifetime of memories during their 10 short years together, including several trips to amusement parks. Pauly lit up the room with his smile, laugh and sarcastic jokes. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan to the very end. He brought adventure to each and every moment he was with you. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and numerous friends. Paul is survived by his son, Jaden Valencia of Midland, Texas; brother, Albert Valencia of Visalia, California; aunt and Godmother, Delia Montes of Midland, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Betty Garcia and Peggy Ramos, and a brother, Randy Valencia. A Farwell Tribute Service honoring Paul's life will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014, 10:00am, officiated by Minister Frank Terrones at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel, 1700 W. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, CA. A reception will follow the services at the Praise Center Church, Visalia, CA.
