Samuel Blanco Jr.

Samuel Blanco Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 79 years of age. Born October 31, 1934, in Robstown, Texas. Sam graduated from Banquete High School in 1954 and served in the United States Air Force from 1954-58. Sam was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Blanco Sr. and Beatrice Rodriguez Blanco. Sam is survived by his current wife Mary Blanco, two daughters, Beatrice Tabarez (Cesar Rivera) and Rosie Cortes (Jorge); two sons, Samuel Blanco III (Pamela) and Michael Blanco Sr. (Cecilia) and one step son, Dowe Keller; four sisters, Lydia Ward, Dolores Gutierrez, Mary Rodela and Victoria Salinas; one brother, Paul Blanco Sr., 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel located at 1700 West Caldwell Ave from 5pm-8pm with the Rosary being prayed at 6pm. Burial will be Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Visalia Cemetery located at 1300 W. Goshen ave., Visalia, Ca. at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, family is asking to make donations "In Honor of Sam Blanco Jr" to AMVETS Post 56, 240 East King Ave. Tulare, Ca. 93274.
