Floyd R. Wimer 1932 - 2015 Floyd Raymond Wimer entered into eternal life on March 18, 2015 at the age of 82. Floyd was born in Woodlake on March 29, 1932 to Floyd and Era Wimer. He was well-known in the community as a jack of all trades. He worked as a ranch foreman in several counties, a truck driver for both Sequoia Rock and Southvalley Materials, owned R. Wimer Gardening for many years, and finally ended his working career with The Union of Operating Engineers. Other than putting his hands to work, Floyd was an accomplished bowler and a frequent customer at Mearle's Drive In. Floyd met his late wife Bette in 1969 and were married for 43 wonderful years. The couple loved bowling together with their friends and enjoyed being around family. He is survived by his two sons: Michael Wimer, Darren Wimer and wife Donya. His daughter Rebekah and husband Thomas Grier, grandchildren Zakery, Jennifer, Tiffany, and Tannis Carson. Floyd will be deeply missed by us all. The joy comes from knowing that the suffering has ended and he has finally re-united with his wife, among many others in Heaven. Viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel. Followed by the Committal Service at 12:30 p.m. at the Visalia Public Cemetery.
