Juanita H. Soto passed away peacefully Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Redwood Springs Health Care Center in Visalia, CA. She was born in McCoy, Texas on October 20, 1934 to Altagracia and Leopoldo Hererra of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Pablo Hererra and sister Josephina Villareal. She has one sister Antonia Molina in Michigan. Juanita worked in a day care for 3 years in Cutler then later worked for Kaweah Delta Medical Center Hospital for 20 years in the Laundry Department before retiring. She was a faithful member for 48 years of the Latin Assembly of God "La Nueva Jerusalen" 1837 N. Court St. in Visalia by Pastor Mario and Esther Gamez., and then by Pastor Leo and Rosy Barrios. She loved cooking for the church and was best known for her tamales. She loved working for the Lord and always did her best and made sure her family came to church. She loved listening to Christian music and loved singing to the Lord. Juanita was preceded in death by her loving husband Gregorio Soto Jr and sons Gregory, Herman and George Soto. She leaves behind four daughters, Mary Soto Dorado, Esmeralda Rodriguez, Elsa Balderama and Naomi Murillo; five sons, Leopoldo, Abel, Eron, Ralph and Moses Soto. Juanita had 39 grandchildren, 83 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. We are going to miss her very much for she gave us so much love and wonderful memorial that we will treasure. One day we will see her again and all of our loved ones, to be united will be a joyful time in Heaven, can't wait. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2015, 11:00am-1:00pm at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel, 1700 W. Caldwell Ave., Visalia, CA. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015, 1:00pm at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel, Visalia, CA. After the services the family will gather for a reception at the La Nueva Jerusalen Church, 1837 N. Court St., Visalia, CA.
