Michelle Lynette Sartuche-Helfer passed into eternal life on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She was born in Carmichael, CA on February 14, 1968, our Valentine. She is survived by her parents, Nick & Linda Sartuche of Ventura, CA, her daughter, Menolly Helfer of Gassville, AK, sister, Monica (Chris) Belavic of Grover Beach, CA, brother, Nicholas (Cynthia) Sartuche of Ventura, CA. She was especially close to her cousin, Cyndi Smith-Burris of Olathe, KS. She was preceded in death by her husband & soul mate, Russell Helfer, and her grandparents, (Mema) Margaret & (Papa) Bill Croxton. Michelle grew up and attended schools in Tulare, Graduating from Tulare Union High School in 1986 and attending Chico State. She managed several Pizza restaurants in Tulare & Grover Beach, was a night clerk at the Sea Gypsy in Pismo for several years, owned Dune Dogs & was a property manager in Pismo. She loved to read, write poetry & short stories, play games, the 49ers, Star Trek, music, her Mustang, casinos, all animals, especially her dog (Woofie), her friends & Pismo Beach. She had a long battle with diabetes and could not overcome the ravaging effects, her body endured. Her ashes will be spread into the ocean, releasing her from all the pain she suffered in life. A memorial will be held at the beach in the spring of 2016 to celebrate her life. Our memories of Michelle will live in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity
