She was born in Donna, TX. where she lived most of her young life until moving to California. Our mother was the 3rd of the eldest of 10 children. Being a Mother and Grandmother was her true enjoyment in life. She always helped others in need without question. Spending time with family and friends filled her heart and made her smile. Her senior association nicknamed her “The Dancing Queen” because she loved to dance. She touched the hearts of many people with her laughter and sincere kindness and will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irenio and Catarina Sanchez, her brother Jose R Sanchez, her sister Eva Sánchez Tijerina and a daughter Esmeralda Castillo. She is survived by her partner Arturo Perez of 30 years, her 2 daughters, Julie Garza of Porterville, CA and Chris Castillo of Las Vegas, NV, 2 sisters, Julia Yzquierdo of Sioux City, Iowa and Hilda Garza of San Juan, TX. Five brothers, Raul Sanchez of Ducor, CA., Augustin Sanchez of Edinburg, TX., Roberto Sanchez of Visalia, Ca., Daniel Sanchez of Ft. Worth, TX., and Rogelio Sanchez of Alamo, TX, 3 grandchildren, Elijah, Julian and Vienna Orozco and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2017 from 4-6 pm at Hadley-Marcom Funeral Chapel 1700 W. Caldwell Avenue, Visalia, Ca. 93277. A morning service will take place at Landmark Christian Center, 2380 Olive Ave, Porterville, Ca 93257 at 10:00 a.m. followed by her final resting place at Porterville Cemetery (Hillcrest) 1013 E Olive Ave.
