Carylon Irene Reed

Carylon Irene Reed, age 75 of Tulare, CA went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 17, 2022, at her home. The daughter of Hobert and Flossie (Jarrett) McGill, was born May 10, 1947, in Tulare, CA. Carylon was a simple woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her children and grandchildren play sports; she loved rooting for the SF Giants, watching westerns, going to yard sales, doing jigsaw puzzles, going out to eat with family and shopping. She could spend hours in the 99 cent Store and Grocery Outlet! Carylon would also stop everything to “make a run” to the Casino with anyone who would take her! Carylon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Norman Reed, and brothers Charles McGill and Joe McGill. Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Linda Garges, Del and Renee Reed and Alan Duran; grandchildren, Chris and Amanda Rich, Breanna and Fermin Valdez, Xavier Reed, Aliyah Reed, Destiny Quihuiz, Daylen Valdez, Damacio Duran, and Silas Duran; great-grandchildren, Zariyah Valdez, Fermin Valdez III., Emmanuel Valdez, Brody Valdez, Mia Reed, Madalynn Reed, Nathaniel Quihuiz; siblings, Paul and Linda McGill, Barbara York, Jimmy McGill and Linda Davis; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on July 30, 2022, at 4:00pm followed by a short funeral service at 5:00pm at Hadley Marcom Funeral Chapel, 1700 W. Caldwell Ave. Visalia, Ca 93277. The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life at Tulare Silvercrest - Community Room 350 N. L St. Tulare, Ca 93274.
