Connie Hernandez

Born Connie Maria Hernandez was surrounded by her family when she passed away at 83 on May 7, 2023. She was born in the town of Farmersville,CA to Manuel and Blance Palomarez attended Farmersville schools. Connie was married to Felix Hernandez on July 27,1973 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Exeter,CA and raised Phillip,Rachel P,Suzan L,Barbara and Elizabeth H. Mom worked and retired from Exeter Citrus she was cherished by her family and her community. She was fun loving, and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed conversation with people she came across. Mom was compassionate, charitable and hospitable to all. Connie found joy in giving, she did so much for her family. Despite being a hard worker, she had many hobbies like sewing, crochet, gardening, great cooking/baking for family and community, in seasons canning peaches, and tomatoes. Mom loved music and on weekends, she and my dad could be found dancing in the kitchen.Mom could be seen driving her 78 Ford pick up truck, giving a honk and a wave. She is survived by her sister Joan Palomarez and is preceded in death by her parents, son Phillip, siblings Tony, Vickey Duran, Vera Romero, and “Candy.” With gratitude the family thanks everyone for your visits, calls, prayers, cards, floral arrangements and all other expressions of sympathy for our beloved mother. Services are in the care of Hadley Marcom Funeral Chapel.
