Consuelo (Chelo) Garcia Diaz

Consuelo (Chelo) Garcia Diaz, 52, of Visalia, passed Saturday, October 26, 2024. She was born December 21st, 1971, in Lindsay, CA to Susanna Lopez and Jorge Silva. She was very fun, spirited, adventurous, and extremely hardworking. She was resilient not only in her work but in life as well. She didn't let anything keep her down. 

Chelo was very fond of all of the work she had accomplished in both of her jobs. She was a roaster machine operator at Nichols Farms and an at home baker known as “Cakepop Queen”! Baking became more of her hobby than a job especially when she was able to get creative with the designs.

Chelo was a lively and loving person. She always went out of her way to help others and would be there for anyone no questions asked. She was an amazing friend to everyone she met, and she was an even more amazing mom, grandma, wife, sister, daughter and best friend. She is leaving behind daughters Jasmine, Lisa and Valerie, grandchildren Marley and Matthew and husband Abel. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
