Honoring the life of Darla Marie Pullen September 01,1963 - May 22, 2022 “Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us.” This week, Darla Marie Pullen gained her wings. It would be wrong to say that Darla lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Darla stayed strong. Darla was born on September 1st 1963 in Dallas, Tx to Carroll Eugene Miles and Charlotte Joanne Judd. She resided in Visalia, Ca for over 40 years. She has recently resided in Harrison, AR for the last 2-1/2 years. When Darla’s children were young, the phrase “stay-at-home-mom” didn’t exist. It was usual for women to stay home with the children while their husbands worked. But even by the standards of the era, Darla was an exceptional wife, mother and friend. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was more than happy to be the centralized figure in the lives of her children and family. Darla Marie was a fun, loving, sincere and caring person who made everyone feel loved and welcomed with open arms. She enjoyed being outdoors with family and friends, singing karaoke, going fishing, camping, going to the beach, or even a bbq at home with the family. Darla was a die-hard Raiders fan, and if you got in the way of her game on the TV she would beat your ass. Darla is survived by her parents Carroll Miles and Charlotte Allen, her husband Kenneth G Farabee, her children Brian G. Pullen Jr, Brandy Lee Pullen, Brittany Joan Jauregui, Christopher Glen Phillips Jr., Samantha Lee Simmons, Kenneth Bryan Farabee, Cory Shane Farabee. Her siblings Kalei, Gene, Flo, Rick, Edward, Sheila, Kelly, Tracey. Her grandchildren Cole, True, Alyssa, Miya, Melissa, Austin, Steven, Nicholas, Ember, Clayton, Dallas, Levi, Blake, Kai, Eli, Nani, Mallorie, Wyatt, Xavier, and her great grand children. Darla is preceded in death by her grandson Cory Shane Farabee II. Darla has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that she loved so much, however so many people had considered Darla to be their surrogate mother. She will always be loved, honored and remembered for the amazing soul that she was until we meet again in heaven. “I love you bunches to the moon and back”
