Dolores June Witt

Dolores J. Witt, Born 8/26/1929 in Detroit, Michigan. She started her Art Career at Disney Studios during WWII, and later at MGM on Tom & Jerry cartoons. She married in 1947 to Charles Woods and had a son, Michael. Dolores remarried to Gerhardt “Guy” Witt, in 1972 and moved to Visalia. She was an established and acclaimed, Multi-Media artist and continued studies in her craft throughout her adult life. She won many “Best In Shows” while living in the Central Valley. Dolores passed peacefully on July 5, 2020 in her Prestige Assisted Living apartment. She is pre-deceased by her husband Guy, Step-sons Eric and Bruce Witt. She is survived by Son, Michael Woods and Wife Sue, who visited her often from Lake Arrowhead, CA. and by nephews Steve, John, and Richard Bjorkman and nieces, Linda Hughes and Margaret Nunez.
