Enedine Rodriguez passed away Friday February 28th at her home surrounded by her children and loved ones. Enedine was born November 9, 1934 In Indio CA, to Julia and Martin Mendoza Sr. She grew up in Seville, Ca. She was a stay home mom for many years until she took a position with Visalia Unified, and worked as a Community Liaison at Goshen school, Divisadero, and Mt Whitney High School. She loved helping the community by creating a food closet to assist all in need. She ran the Goshen after school program and loved gathering sponsors to help every year for the Giant Christmas party for all of the under privileged children. She retired after 30 years. She is best known for her Unwavering Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ. She leaves behind her children, Gabe Rodriguez /Idalia, David Rodriguez, Joanne Cardenas /Freddie and 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She leaves behind, her sisters, Jessie Monreal, Margie Flores, and Virginia Monreal, and her brother Manuel Mendoza, Sr. She spent her happiest moments with “Sissy” Adina Vazquez, and playing with Ritchie and Delos (great grand babies) Her family would like to thank the Kaweah Delta Doctors, Nurses and the Wonderful People of Hospice for the guidance, support and exemplary kindness shown to our Mother and our family.
