Everett Gene Doty, 89, died December 26, 2022 at Kaweah Health Medical Center. He is survived by his wife Linda, two daughters from a previous marriage and five additional children of Linda’s. Everett was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. One of 10 children, he was the last surviving sibling. He will be remembered for his service as a United States Marine and Korean War Veteran. He was in the printing industry for 60 years and moved to Visalia in 1995 working for Poser Printing. This was a good move for Everett as he met and quickly fell in love with Linda Lou Solano and was married in 1996. Together they spent the next 26 years making life an adventure. They volunteered together at the Farm Show for 15 years, rain or shine. They traveled near and far as they explored Galviston, Texas and enjoyed several cruises including Costa Rica, Panama Canal and others. They even drove a dune buggy on day trips and in parades with 10 other couples for years. Everett also enjoyed woodworking. From making tables, shutters and dish holders to tinkering with wooden toys, he loved creating in his wood shop. A celebration of life will be held at 2627 W. Midvalley Ave., Visalia, CA 93277 in the clubhouse, on February 25th at 11am. Services in care of Hadley Marcom Funeral Chapel.
