Peace was my companion
As I made my homeward flight,
There was no fear or sorrow
All darkness turned to light.
The canopy of stars above
Turned into brightest day,
As I approached the heavens
I heard the angels say.
The mysteries unshrouded
You are about to see,
There is prepared a place for you
Here in eternity.
Surrounded by serenity
Forever you will sing,
A song unknown to angels
The song of the redeemed.
