Jose "Joe" Contreras Renteria

Jose "Joe" Contreras Renteria, 87, of Visalia, California, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025. Born on June 23, 1936, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Joe built a fulfilling career as a skilled heavy equipment operator, earning respect for his precision and dedication to his craft.

Joe will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Richard, Ralph, Rudy, and Robert Renteria; daughters, Ruby, Joanne, and Josie; daughters-in-law, Yvonne, Julie, and Lori Renteria; son-in-law, Andamo Rader; brother, Wally Renteria; and sisters, Josie Parraz, Lorena Franco, Jenny Renteria, and Sally Renteria Cavazos. He also leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who cherished his warmth and generosity. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Ignacia Renteria; brother, Salvador; and sisters, Felipa, Mary, and Amelia.

Joe's loving presence and kind spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. His memory will remail a source of comfort and inspiration to his family and friends.
