Marcelino M. Escobedo

Marcelino M. Escobedo, Jr. (Marc) 55, died at the hospital in Visalia, CA on January 13, 2020, four days after a tragic accident. Marc was the youngest of two children born to Marcelino Escobedo and Linda Avilla Fisher in Salinas, CA. He spent his youth in the California towns of Castroville, Seaside, and Prunedale.  For a portion of his adult life, Marc worked at a variety of jobs in Monterey, CA. He relocated and resided in Tulare County, CA for the last 27 years, but the Monterey Peninsula was where he longed to return. Marc enjoyed many hobbies that included woodworking, cooking and quilting. He was the loving pet owner for four lively chihuahua’s. Marc is survived by two sisters, Nicolasa Escobedo, Michelle Shorman, two aunts, Julie Lauren, Alice Montano and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many friends who will miss his endearing and creative nature. A remembrance of Marc’s life will be held at a future date.
