Richard LaFleur, 83, of Woodlake, California, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on January 7, 2025.
Richard was born on March 23, 1941, to Lincoln and Maxine LaFleur in Martinez, California. After Richard graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in 1959,he served 3 years in the Army. After discharge he began his life work in sales and farming. Working until he was 80 having to retire when Parkinson took control of his life. He loved to say when asked what he did for a living he was a “Wagon peddler” farmer and journeyman ditch digger for son Jeffrey’s business.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, 4 children, Jeffrey LaFleur (Teri) Craig LaFleur (Yvonne) Janene Keller (Rodger) Kelli Pledger (Sean) 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
He is greatly missed.
Services will be held at St. Francis Cabrini Church on January 17th, at 10:00 AM followed with the Celebration of Life at the Woodlake Veterans Memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the WUHS Foundation or Woodlake Food Pantry.
