Robert Mark Horton

Robert (Bob) Mark Horton was born in Delano, CA. on January 2nd, 1958, to Eugene and Jerri Horton. He was their third child. He went to school in Delano and graduated from Delano High School. From there he went on to Cal State Bakersfield until he became a CPA. After a couple years working at an accounting firm, he decided to become a correctional officer. First in Corcoran, then Kern Valley/North Kern. He retired a lieutenant in 2011 after 23 years service. In 2009 Bob meet Suellen Paggi Mendonsa and the following year they married. They shared 14 happy, loving years together. Bob was a man with many passions and interests. Being a cowboy, history, music, biographies, old movies, art and collecting. He even tried his hand at catering with his wife Suellen. Bob leaves behind his wife Suellen, his sister Sherri Phillips (Jack), his stepdaughter Jennifer Thorton (Brian), grandsons Ryker and Reece, and mother-in-law Judy Paggi. We are all heartbroken for losing him too soon.
